Martin and Dowling…..Dowling and Martin….

Last evening Albert and Tina came over to talk about the exhibit at the end of the residency. So it seemed like quite a good time to take stock of what we have done. Also, to show some of the pieces more-or-less finished that have hitherto only been glimpsed being worked on. We have found so many new ways of working, and new ways of working together.

And this is the poplar veneer piece that we made first. The veneer is soaked to make it pliable, which gives it a wonderful organic shape. So we have been getting excited about veneer..
